After studying English literature, Dorra Bouchoucha entered the world of cinema by launching a project workshop during the Carthage Film Festival in 1992. In 1995, she founded the production company “Nomadis”, which produced many short and long films, Tunisian and foreign documentaries. She also started a workshop for the writing and development of the script “Sud Ecritures” in 1997. To go through it in the development of South Cinema and the definition of it.
Dorra Bouchoucha is a member of the International Arbitration Committees (Berlin Film Festival 2017) and in seminars and meetings on cinema. She also managed the Carthage Film Days in 2008, 2010 and especially in 2014, where she made her organization each year. She is also a member of the Film Council of the Rotterdam Film Festival (Holland) and a member of the Academy of Arts and cinema Sciences (USA). She has published numerous articles on cinema and is a member of scientific councils and is studying production at the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts in Manouba.
She was one of the nine individuals of the Committee on Individual Liberties and Equality.
