She began her career in 1984 teaching French in Gabes before moving to the United Arab Emirates where she taught at the Exfort School in Dubai and the Sabis International School in Dubai.
She returned to Tunisia in 2007 and participated in the development of linguistic references to teach French to primary school students.
Her relationship with cinema began with participation in cinematic clubs before she was one of the members of the re-establishment of the cinema club in Gabes under the name of “Taieb El-Wahishi Club” headed from 2009 to 2012.
In 2012, she was the General Secretary of the founding instance of the Jossour association in Gabes before heading it in 2018. She has served as general coordinator and vice-president of International Festival of the Arabic film in Gabes from 2015 to 2018, the year that changes the name of festival to festival of Gabes for cinema.
NADIA BEN GUIZA has many other activities, such as: framing workshops for making puppets, writing clubs, photography and discussion of films and music.
